Another Successful Peacefest
Peacefest went really well. Veggies for Peace were wonderful as well, and the flowers were great . Next year we should promote the flowers as well as the veggies. Liese did nails and Katja and Liese gave massages, they were very popular. Thor did an art installation piece (which can be seen at the Volume 1 bookstore, post festival) the whole day which came out great, he’s amazing. Michigan Peace Works had a table with their new director, as well all the Moratorium on Foreclosures group, so that was good for diverse political views. It rained a little bit a few times, but passed over pretty quick, not enough for anyone to have to run for it. The crowd could have been larger, but we recognize opposing American Empire is not a subject that brings out crowds of curious folk, yet.
